Hotel Copenhagen is a centrally located budget hotel for anyone looking for good, affordable accommodation in Copenhagen. You can choose between hotel rooms with shared bathroom in the corridor and more spacious apartments if you want extra space and independence during your stay.
Our philosophy is simple: a great location, clean and pleasant rooms at a fair price and friendly service. By keeping standards smart and functional, we can offer lower prices than many other hotels in the city without compromising on what really matters for a comfortable stay.

Good to know before your stay
So you feel confident and prepared before you walk through the door, we have gathered all practical hotel information in one place. Here you will find opening hours, check-in and check-out routines, payment, parking and other useful details.

Reception opening hours
Monday–Friday: 07:00–23:00*
Saturday–Sunday: 09:00–17:00
*Please note that on some weekdays reception is staffed between 09:00 and 17:00.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 15:00. Self check-in is possible outside reception hours if the booking is prepaid. Please contact reception if you plan to arrive late so we can prepare for your arrival.
Check-out must be by 11:00 at the latest
Breakfast
We serve a continental breakfast buffet between 09:15 and 11:00. Please note breakfast must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance. You can easily add breakfast when booking your room or at reception on arrival.
Payment
You can pay by card directly on our website when booking, or on arrival at the hotel. We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, JCB and Dankort.
Internet
Reception has a computer with free internet access for guests. In-room Wi-Fi is available for a small fee.
Bike rental
Want to experience Copenhagen like a local? You can rent a bike from us at an affordable price. We also lend helmets free of charge.
The bar
Our bar next to reception is open between 09:00 and 17:00 and serves a selection of hot and cold drinks.
Visitors in rooms
For security reasons, only checked-in guests and our staff may be in hotel rooms and other reserved areas. The maximum number of people per room is:
Two (2) people in double and twin rooms
Four (4) people in family rooms and apartments
Six (6) people in larger apartments
Outside visitors are therefore not allowed in checked-in guests’ rooms. If the rule is not followed, hotel staff may refuse the guest without refund.

Non-smoking hotel
The entire hotel is non-smoking – including rooms, reception and all common areas. On each floor there is outdoor smoking access. Smoking indoors incurs a fee of DKK 1,500.
Parking
Parking spaces at the hotel are limited and we cannot guarantee availability or offer advance booking. If a space is free when you arrive, it is free of charge for guests.
Street parking
There is plenty of street parking around the hotel. Fees and rules vary by time of day and day of week. Current information is on parking meters and in parking apps.
Automated car park
An underground automated car park is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, with entrance from Leifsgade. The garage is open 24 hours and you can park easily at applicable rates. Payment is easy by credit card, and the garage offers a safe and convenient solution during your stay.
